Self -Talk: Tame Toxic Thoughts and Improve your Health and Well-Being

In this Workshop you will explore the power of self-talk. The average person has about 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. 80% of our thoughts are negative. 95% of our thoughts are repetitive. Self-talk has been shown to have an impact on our physical and mental health. While self-talk research is ongoing, research outcomes indicate that redirecting negative thoughts toward the positive may lead to: increased life span, improved cognitive functioning, lower rates of depression and anxiety as well as lower levels of distress.
Positive self-talk can not only improve our mental health, it also has the power to improve our physical health. In this course, you will assess your inner dialogue and explore the impact of negative and positive self-talk on your health/wellness.
